The COMAGRAV Notus and Notus Plus are advanced CNC routing and multifunctional cutting systems engineered for high-volume, multi-material fabrication. Constructed on a stress-relieved, thick-walled steel chassis with precision-milled beds and linear guideways, these platforms deliver structural rigidity and repeatable accuracy across diverse industrial applications, including signage, packaging, furniture, metalworking, and prototyping.
Both machines are powered by AC servo motors with planetary gearboxes, enabling rapid traverse speeds up to 48 m/min and high torque for dense material processing. The modular MULTI tool head accommodates up to two independently controlled modules simultaneously, supporting oscillating knives, tangential cutters, V-cut heads, and high-frequency routing spindles—facilitating seamless transitions between toolpaths without manual intervention.
The Notus Plus model extends functionality with an increased working area (up to 6200 × 2100 mm) and reinforced welded frame, making it suitable for extra-large format jobs. Tooling flexibility includes optional linear or carousel tool changers, spindle outputs up to 13.2 kW and 50,000 RPM, and spray cooling systems for non-ferrous metals. Automated vision capabilities, including integrated camera systems for registration mark detection and RIP software integration, enable precise contour alignment for print-and-cut workflows.
Material handling is optimized through configurable vacuum tables, multi-zone suction, and tool presence sensors. These features ensure clean edge quality, reduce material waste, and enhance operational safety. The systems also support auxiliary modules like dust extraction, creasing wheels, kiss-cut tooling, and engraving heads—making them capable of processing materials ranging from aluminum and MDF to textiles, carbon-kevlar, PVC, foam, and technical composites.
The COMAGRAV Notus and Notus Plus are built for scalable production, offering modular expandability, high-speed precision, and seamless integration into automated manufacturing environments. They provide a robust, future-ready platform for manufacturers requiring flexibility, power, and uncompromising accuracy.
